Photographs by Karol Nienartowicz

11. March until 24. September 2023

The photographer (*1985) from Jelenia Góra combines one passion – photography, with the other, trekking in the mountains of Europe and the world. He is drawn to the wild and hard-to-reach areas, where he spends the night in a tent to capture the evening and morning light – undisturbed by other people.

This resulted in unique photographs for which he received numerous awards, including the Grand Prix in the international photo competition of National Geographic and the Our Carpathians Foundation. He has now visited more than 45 countries on 4 continents with his camera.
Nienartowicz is a graduate of the Art High School in Jelenia Góra. In 2010 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Painting at the University of Zielona Góra. Today he lives in Krakow.
Opening on March 10, 2023 at 6 pm.
