Australien aus einer ungewohnten Perspektive: Jan Noack, passionierter Naturfilmer, Fotograf und Senckenberg Mitarbeiter aus Görlitz, nimmt Sie in seinem Vortrag mit auf eine elfwöchige Soloreise durch den Osten Australiens und Tasmanien. Dieser Abend ist keine touristische Anleitung für den Kontinent – klassische Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Sydney oder Badestrände bleiben bewusst außen vor. Stattdessen erleben Sie Australien aus seiner Sicht: unberührte Natur und faszinierende Tierwelten.
 
Abseits der gewohnten Touristenpfade durchstreifte Jan Noack Regenwälder, Steppenlandschaften und das raue Outback. Mit seiner Kamera fing er dabei unvergessliche Begegnungen ein – von Kängurus über Emus bis hin zu dem seltenen Tasmanischen Teufel.
